Destroying our website

On last Thursday 30th of July 2009, between 23h28 and 23h40 GMT, our Aviation Club website has been abruptly attacked: our database and content were methodically erased from our server in a couple of minutes. The author of this illegal action has been duly identified, home based in Dallas, Texas, and a legal procedure has immediately been put into motion, to have him seized and condemned by a Court of Justice. Since this black night, we have all been working hard, right behind our Vice-President Technology, Jean-François Groff, to reconstruct our site and re-establish our database and content. He has actually achieved this task in some ten days (and nights…). So here we are, back again on the scene, for your own satisfaction, which drives us to constantly improve the Aviation Club website which is yours, dear members, fellow aviators and aviation fans. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused by the interruption. And we fully count on your renewed support to further develop together our site, aimed at expressing our common passion for the Wild Blue.
